David Gelb
David Gelb (born October 16, 1983) is an American film director who directed the critically acclaimed 2011 documentary ''Jiro Dreams of Sushi''. In 2015, he directed ''The Lazarus Effect''.
==Life and career==
Gelb was born in Manhattan, New York City to Peter Gelb, the general manager of the Metropolitan Opera. Gelb was inspired to make ''Jiro Dreams of Sushi'' in 2011 and later released ''The Lazarus Effect'' in 2015.
